Our dance studio was established in 2003 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The studio specializes in Tribal style bellydance, offering instruction from beginner through professional levels in a positive, supportive environment.

The studio offers skilled instruction in Classic Improvisational Bellydance, tribal-fusion bellydance, dancing with props, floorwork, poi, and monthly two-hour focus classes on various topics of interest, such as rhythm patterns, zills, musicality, shimmies.

Dancers Oasis Studio is the home of Benu Dance Company, a dance troupe that has performed in various venues throughout the United States.

The Company’s performances are marked by passion and power. Benu Dance Company performs Classic Improvisational Tribal style bellydance. They dance "in the moment" using the music to guide movement and creating an exciting performance art on the spot. They possess remarkable precision and togetherness that rivals the best of structured choreography.

Benu Dance Company has been performing since 1997 in various venues in Lincoln, Nebraska and throughout the United States. They are known for mesmerizing slow movements, innovative formations and exchanges, using traditional classic tribal steps and movements and adding their own stamp of original combinations and expression.

We offer a wide variety of American Tribal Bellydance costumes, accessories and other related products. Many of these costumes and accessories are handcrafted items, of both local and exotic origins. We offer panel, gypsy and ribbon skirts, pantaloons, cholis and coin bras, hip wraps, tassle, fringe and shell belts as well as other accessories.

In addition to walkin, local sales at the studio, we accept orders by phone and e-mail. We can ship to anywhere in the continental United States, Canada and some overseas locations.
